Local Marketing Firm Selected to Create Time Warner Publishing's iPublish Web Site

AUSTIN, Texas (December 4, 2000) — Conduit Interactive, an award-winning full-service marketing firm, announced today that they have been selected by Blue Barn Interactive to design Time Warner's flagship online publishing web site, iPublish (www.ipublish.com), which will launch late in the first quarter 2001.

iPublish is a ground-breaking online community designed to unite readers, authors and editors. The web site will explore new avenues for the production, distribution and sale of fiction and non-fiction material created specifically for the Internet.

Conduit was selected from many top-level marketing firms across the country to design the front-end interface for the web site. Blue Barn Interactive, a leading new media firm that designed the iPublish infrastructure, is performing and managing the web site implementation.

"Conduit provides its customers with top-notch Internet design and marketing services," said Christine Robison, president and founder of Conduit Interactive. "We are excited to work with such talented organizations as Blue Barn and Time Warner who share our goal of excellence."

iPublish will consist of three channels: iRead, iWrite and iLearn, which will be distinguished from each other by unique illustrations and tones designed by Conduit Interactive. iRead will showcase published works and serve as a launchpad for distribution to a growing number of online outlets. iWrite, will serve as the publishing engine of iPublish, enabling reader-members to submit new works. iLearn will be a forum for Time Warner's best-selling authors and in-house experts to share their knowledge with the site's users.

"We believe that an established publishing house can make a bold leap and succeed in the wide-open space of the Internet," said Laurence J. Kirshbaum, chairman and CEO of Time Warner Trade Publishing.
