Conduit Announces New Office Location and Opening of 40amp Gallery
Gallery to Share Historical Downtown Space with Design Firm

AUSTIN, Texas (February 15, 2002) — Austin, Texas-based Conduit, an award-winning design and interactive firm, announced today that it has expanded its business with the opening of The Conduit Gallery.

The gallery will share space with the design and marketing firm. The new space, located in the heart of Austin's downtown, is in a historical building dating from the early 20th century.

Jean Geehring, interior designer of Austin nightspots including the Lucky Lounge and the Red Fez, served as the interior design consultant for the new space. Geehring designed custom lighting and provided plans to integrate the two purposes into a functional, harmonious environment.

"We are excited about the new space and the new venture," said Christine Robison, president of Conduit. "The addition of a fine art gallery in our office space brings another creative dimension to our firm. The two purposes for our space really enhance each other."

"The Conduit office is the perfect creative environment for a gallery to be housed." said Candace Pruett, gallery director. "This is a unique opportunity to showcase local talent, and to introduce new artists to the Austin area."
